Classroom Arts Programs

Learning deepens and imaginations spark through our arts in education programs as students delve into theatre, dance, music, visual arts, and more. Through the arts, curriculum comes to life and learning becomes joyful. Students discover the power of creative self-expression while developing critical thinking, collaboration, and confidence–-skills that extend far beyond the classroom.

Each year, Sundog Theatre presents original productions and theatrical performances that entertain, inspire, and celebrate our community, including our annual fall production of “Scenes from the Staten Island Ferry”.

Teaching through the Arts

Our educational touring productions bring history, science, literature, and social themes to life through engaging theatrical performances by professional actors. Available for schools, performance venues, older adult centers, and community organizations, these interactive programs make learning entertaining, memorable and relevant.

Students ages 9-17 build creativity, confidence, communication, and teamwork while learning the fundamentals of theatre through fun, engaging, and supportive acting classes. Students perform a show in the final class. Three year-round sessions.
